DIY Coconut Oil Sugar Scrubs

What if I told you that you can turn your favorite coffee and green tea into an amazing sugar scrub, using products you already have at home? It's super easy and fun and will save you so much money! 

We all know that coffee and green tea has many benefits for our mind and body, but they also have great benefits when used on our skin. Here at #letsgetgoing, we'll show you how to make both sugar scrubs and tell you the amazing benefits that come with it.

Green Tea Sugar Scrub

Benefits 

  • Calm and reduce redness
  • Reveal radiance for a healthy glow
  • A natural exfoliator to remove dead skin

What You Need:

  • Coconut Oil
  • Brown Sugar or Regular Sugar 
  • (2) Green Tea Bags 
  • A Small Container and a Mixing Spoon 

Add 3 teaspoons of coconut oil into the small container. (If your coconut oil is solid, microwave it for 10 seconds)

Cut open (2) green tea bags and pour the content in with the coconut oil. 

Mix the green tea with the coconut oil.Mix the green tea with the coconut oil.

Add 1 teaspoon of brown sugar into the mixture. 

Mix everything together with a spoon. 

And here's the end result! This is enough product for one week but if you want to make a bigger portion, just add more of the ingredients, but just remember not to add too much coconut oil because you don't want it to be too watery. 

Coffee Sugar Scrub

  • Temporary reduction of cellulite

  • Smooth skin 

What You Need:

  • Coconut Oil
  • Fresh or Used Coffee Grounds
  • Brown Sugar or Regular Sugar
  • A Small Container and Mixing Spoon

Add 3 teaspoons of coconut oil into a small container. 

Add 1 teaspoon of coffee grounds into the container. (You can also use used coffee grounds after you're done brewing coffee, but keep in mind that the caffeine level in the used coffee grounds will be depleted.)

Add 2 teaspoon of brown sugar. 

Mix everything together. 

And wal-la! You're done!
