I was only a Girl Scout for a hot second but the one thing I learned between shoving Thin Mints in my mouth and ironing on a pathetic two patches, was that a girl should always be prepared. In fact, I think it's one of their mottos. Although that phase was short lived, I apply that lesson every single day.

Being on the go, especially in my newly acquired nomadic state, takes a lot of preparation. Even leaving my Air bnb for a day of exploration takes a little bit of planning. There are a handful of things I need to make sure I'm feeling, looking, and being my best when I'm out on the road. Biggest challenge however is keeping it light.

Makeup and skin care products are one of those things that I can't seem to down size. But for the sake of room in my bag (and my back) downsizing must be done. So I narrowed it down to just a few life-saving products (all of which are available in travel sizes) that can easily fit in your backpack or purse without sacrificing space.
