The botanist's fix, A herbal cocktail made with @woodhillgin , a herbal gin distilled with asperges and pink peppercorn. The cocktail is as follows: 6cl Woodhill gin 4cl fresh lemon juice 1cl simple syrup 1 heaped barspoon of ginger jam 5-6 basil leaves 1 pinch of pink peppercorn 1 dash of saline solution Shake with ice and strain in a couple to let basil bits and peppercorn through in the glass. Garnish with basil leaves and asperges. You get a fresh cocktail with a hint of spice from the pink pepper, herbal notes from the basil supported by the gin and a hint of heat from the ginger. Go check out the Woodhill distillery, their gin is fantastic and stands out as one of a kind on the gin market.
