From the runways of NYFW to the streets of cities worldwide, you may have noticed that everyone's looking a little bit more...shiny. That's because this fall's hottest trend is all about metallics. Here's everything you need to know about getting your shine on.

A good deal of fall exists in this weather purgatory of balls hot to perfect chai latte weather, all the way to arctic cold weather. So although you had every intention of shopping for traffic stopping fall pieces, the weather's got you shook. You thought you had more time! Because you don't have time for a full overhaul I highly recommend grabbing a few metallic pieces that will give your old items some new life. Layering is key, so keep your eyes peeled for metallic blouses with details like ruffles. This way you can pop it under one of those sweaters.
